The sample materials are to be tested for the release of aluminum under different time and temperature conditions (10 days at 60 °C and 2 hours at 70 °C). ATW (artificial tap water) in accordance with EN 16889 will be used as simulant. The best practice method “Release Testing of Plain Aluminum Foil” is to be applied.
